Arrowtown

Arrowtown is a picturesque historic town located in the Otago region of New Zealand's South Island, approximately 20 kilometers from Queenstown. Nestled beside the Arrow River and surrounded by dramatic mountains, Arrowtown is renowned for its well-preserved 19th-century buildings and rich gold rush heritage.

Originally established in the 1860s during the Central Otago gold rush, Arrowtown was once a bustling mining settlement. Today, it offers visitors a charming blend of history and modern tourism, with cobblestone streets, heritage cottages, boutique shops, cafes, and museums. The Lakes District Museum provides a deep dive into the area's history, including the lives of early European settlers and Chinese miners, whose restored settlement is a popular attraction.

Property located at Arrow Junction and in a rural location just 5min drive from historic Arrowtown, 30min from central Queenstown and 10mins from the airport.

Queenstown, New Zealand, sits on the shores of the South Island’s Lake Wakatipu, set against the dramatic Southern Alps. Renowned for adventure sports, it’s also a base for exploring the region’s vineyards and historic mining towns. There's many adrenaline activities including bungee jumping off Kawarau Bridge, jet-boating on the Shotover and Dart rivers, skydiving and white water rafting. In winter, there's skiing on the slopes of The Remarkables, Coronet Peak and Cardrona local ski fields.

This property requires a $500.00 NZD security deposit. It will be collected separately by the property prior to your arrival or at check-in.

House Rules
1. Observe and respect the arrival and departure times
2. Tidy away dishes, leaving the kitchen as you find it.
3. Remove footwear inside the house.
4. All outdoor balconies and living areas must be vacated between 10pm and 7am. Disturbances will be taken very seriously. No parties or events. Please take your parties into town.
5. Reservation is strictly limited to the confirmed guests only.
